Free online filter tool offering vintage, Japanese, film, black-and-white, warm and cold filters; one-click application, live preview and adjustable intensity for artistic photos of people, landscapes and food.
The filter tool applies a one-tap colour grade from a grid of presets built on canvas colour operations. The presets are none (original), vintage, black and white, cool, warm, film, Japanese, vivid, soft, sketch, emboss, fade, noir, autumn and ocean. Each is a fixed combination of sepia, grayscale, hue-rotate, brightness, contrast and saturation values, rendered live as you tap a swatch.
On top of the preset, three sliders let you fine-tune: brightness 50 to 150 percent, contrast 50 to 150 percent, and saturation 0 to 200 percent, all defaulting to 100 percent. The tool applies one preset at a time, then your sliders on top of it.
Because only one preset is active at a time, layering two looks means exporting after the first, then re-uploading and applying the second. In practice the sliders do most of the fine work: drop saturation toward 0 percent to desaturate, raise contrast for punch, or lower brightness for a moody image. The sketch and emboss presets are special - they push grayscale and high contrast to mimic a pencil drawing or a raised relief rather than a simple colour grade.
If all you want is plain monochrome, the dedicated grayscale tool is faster; if you want to invert tones for a negative look, use invert; for sharpening after a grade, use sharpen.
All filtering happens in the browser and the file is never uploaded, so you can grade private photos with no privacy trade-off.
Only one preset is active at a time, so stacking two looks means exporting after the first, re-uploading, and applying the second. In practice the three sliders do most of the fine work: saturation at 0 percent fully desaturates (the same result as the black-and-white preset), raised contrast adds punch, and lowered brightness darkens for a moody image. The sketch and emboss presets are not simple colour grades - they push grayscale and high contrast to mimic a pencil drawing or a raised relief, which is why they look heavier than a tint.
Because the whole effect is a canvas colour transform, the original resolution is preserved and there is no upload. If a preset is too strong, lower saturation or contrast rather than switching presets; that keeps the chosen mood while taming it. For a flat neutral monochrome without any tone, the grayscale tool is the cleaner one-click route.
Filters are preset color grades that quickly change the mood of a photo. PixlReady includes more than twenty looks, including vintage and film tones, black and white, warm portrait grades and cool landscape styles, all rendered locally in your browser with a live preview. Unlike one-tap camera apps, every filter has an adjustable strength slider, so you can apply a subtle hint of a look instead of overpowering the image.
Pick a filter, dial the intensity up or down, compare with the original and export the full-resolution JPG or PNG. Filters are non-destructive in the sense that your original file is never overwritten; the edited result is saved as a new download.
